Returning client Mason joined me in the studio this weekend for some sweet Valentine's Day fun! He is always such a fun, easy-going boy...even if he does fall asleep often, right mom? What a fun photo tradition! I love when families have those, it's just too cute! Happy Valentine's Day, handsome boy!
I have had the pleasure of working with Jackson and his family for many, many years now. We've captured so many memories like Christmas, Fall minis, Valentine's Day photos, and more! Well this time I joined them for Jackson's fifth birthday photos and I just can't believe he's five already! We spent the evening at the beautiful historic Manahawkin train because his birthday theme was...Trains! Wishing you the happiest of birthdays and may all your dreams come true!
I am very fortunate to be working with Nick, Erin, and Liberty Grace again. I last saw them at her precious newborn session and I was thrilled to be working with them again for this beautiful occasion. And so the adventure begins today for Kevin and Carolanne as they embark on a new journey as Mr. and Mrs. Umberger! They had a very intimate ceremony that I was blessed to be a part of to capture their first moments as husband and wife! Best wishes, you two! May your love continue to grow year after year!
Little girls make the world sweeter and Emma did just that when she visited the studio this week for her session. This adorable little one was just too cute! I hope to work with Emma and her family again in the future. Dream big baby girl!
Since you all have so generously allowed me to capture your family memories, I thought I'd share some of mine from with you. While I was busy photographing newborns, watermelon sessions, sunflowers, wildflowers, and so much more, I was also planning for my littlest love turning ONE! I fought back tears ordering her smash cake and onesie, as I did when my son reached this milestone age. I love smash cake sessions, and of course, our new splash baths, but when it's your own baby it's so bittersweet that it hurts. Thankfully it went off without a hitch as my baby girl devoured her cake and was quite impressed with herself and the mess she made. Once it was over and she had a nice layer of icing all over her face, it was time to clean up! She splashed herself clean and kept smiling for the camera. I just can't believe this little girl of mine is already one, how did this happen so fast?
A few days after her photo session at our studio, we celebrated her birthday with our beloved friends and family. Her Winnie the Pooh themed party was nothing short of amazing. We enjoyed great entertainment, delicious cake and cookies, and lovely conversation. These are the moments we live for and will cherish for a lifetime. A special thank you to Raechel, our associate photographer, for catching all the great memories made on our special day. I am so grateful to have you on my team, not just for photography purposes, but as an important person in our lives
This family had a great Christmas session which started at Trailside Gardens with our vintage truck and ended on the rail trail for additional Christmas photos. They were really fun to work with and I hope to see them again soon. Merry Christmas Truszkowki family & Happy New Year!
Weekend #2 of Christmas minis is in the books and we wrapped it all up with a total of 34...WOW! So many wonderful families joined me at Trailside Gardens on this beautiful, mild weather weekend to take their family photos. We can't express enough just how grateful we are that Trailside Gardens and Stetson Auto were so supportive of our company this season. It was so hard to pick just one photo from each session for this preview blog because my camera was full of delightful faces! Thank you all for joining me for another weekend of memory making! Don't forget to send us your Christmas cards - we love seeing them!
Time to do a little bragging about these three who mean the absolute world to me. Motherhood not only blessed me with my two beautiful children, but also with best friends who have become family. I have been photographing my son and his best buddy since their first fall in 2014 when they were just learning to sit up. Now it's 2017 and we could barely get them to stay still! It is one of the sessions I look forward to each year, although it breaks my heart to look back to the previous year to see how much they have grown. The boys bring so much personality to their sessions, especially when being photographed together. I love their always giggly, sometimes crazy, fight like brothers behavior. Three year old's, ya know? This fall my daughter joined them and really controlled the session - perhaps a glimpse of things to come from my little diva? So many memories are created each fall while taking these photos. I hope these three continue to grow together and that their friendship blossoms into something amazing. Thank you Tyler and Melissa - these are the moments that make motherhood so much sweeter!
There's no buddy like a brother and the bond is even more special when you get to celebrate your birthdays together. Roman and Anthony's car themed party was a great celebration surrounded by friends and family. Happy birthday boys, you are so lucky to always have a built in best friend.
